| Administrator Serves as the Auxiliary Administrator. She is the official appointed for business, who is to assist and support the affairs of New Horizons Outreach Ministry. New Horizons Outreach Ministry is comprised of auxiliaries or groups that work together for the purpose of advancing the Kingdom of God . There are multiple auxiliaries; which are all directed and assisted by auxiliary coordinators. As the auxiliary administrator, Constance Williams directs and organizes each auxiliary with the assistance of the administrative assistants, who works directly with the auxiliary coordinators. Multimedia/Public Relations The Multimedia / Public Relations is purposed to aid in the spreading of the gospel via publications and distribution of materials produced at New Horizons Outreach Ministry Choir/Musicians Oh sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth. Psalm 96:1 The purpose of the choir ministry is to increase our God given abilities by bringing forth and enhancing the gifts placed in every singer. It is our goal to carry out the great commission of evangelism through the gifts adorned upon each individual from our Lord. We are not entertainers, but ministers through expression, and exhortation by ministering God's word through the demonstration of song. We will reach out and witness to the unbeliever, heal the sick, uplift the downtrodden, encourage the saints, and above all, glorify and praise God through song. Adult Choir: 13 years and older Children's Choir: 4 years to 12 years

Bookstore The bookstore is a powerful source of information for the New Horizons family and the body of Christ as a whole. It is our endeavor to obtain and distribute information that will cause increase in every area of our lives. Our inventory includes books, magazines, praise and worship tapes, items for children, a series of ministry tapes, church directories and much more. Items may be purchased before and after the engagements and church services. The Bible declares in Proverbs 24:5 - A man of knowledge increaseth in strength. We shall continue to obtain and distribute resources that will strengthen our minds towards becoming more Christ Security The purpose of the Security staff is to serve as a watchman for the Pastor, congregation, and the house of God as a whole. Transportation The purpose of the Transportation department is to be of assistance to those who are desirous to attend weekly services but are hindered due to lack of transportation. The New Horizons Outreach Ministry Transportation Dept. is operational for Wednesday services, Sunday services and special events.

Praise Dancers Let them praise his name in the dance... Psalm 149:3 The purpose of the praise dance ministry is to increase our God given abilities by bringing forth and enhancing the gifts placed in every dancer. The ministry of dance is entitled Judah Dancers. This name is derived from the Holy Bible in Genesis 29:35; [Joo duh] praise. The dance teams are comprised of three groups: adults, teens and children. It is our goal to carry out the great commission of evangelism through the gifts adorned upon each individual from our Lord. We are not entertainers, but ministers through expression, and exhortation by ministering God's word through the demonstration of dance. We will reach out and witness to the unbeliever, heal the sick, uplift the downtrodden, encourage the saints, and above all, glorify and praise God through dance!
Fine Arts There are several auxiliaries that are instrumental in enhancing the giftings that God has graced upon those who are inspired to show forth His praise. Please feel free to explore and inquire about those that are listed.
Marriage Strengthening
God placed the mandate of reconciliation in marriages upon the hearts of Apostle Dennis and Prophetess Debra Givens in the early years of their marriage. It is their desire, as the Spirit of God leads, to represent Christ's love for the church, in their union to continue as instruments of reconciliation to many. The marriages at New Horizons are strengthened as the couples gather at various locations to enhance and enjoy one another's companionship. We incorporate events and explore innovative ideas that will aid in producing marriages that represent the kingdom of God!

Outreach The Outreach Ministry that God has placed in our hearts is the main purpose of New Horizons Outreach Ministry. We believe that when we reach out into the community and nations abroad, we are fulfilling the great commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our outreach ministries include nursing home visits, Juvenile Justice centers, hospital visits, youth outreach, Center for the Homeless, college campuses, and the streets of the Michiana area, and much more! Sunday School/Youth Church But Jesus said, Suffer the little children and forbid them not, to come unto me; for such is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 19:14 Our Sunday School and Youth Church focuses on instilling the spirit of excellence in our children and helping them to form a relationship with Jesus Christ. One of our main targets is to help lay a spiritual foundation in the lives of our children. The Children's Church is comprised of two age groups: 6-9 years and 10-12 years. Sunday school is comprised of ages 4-5 years, 6-7 years, 8-9 years, & 10-12 years. The subjects taught are derived from the Holy Bible coupled with daily life applications. The range of teachings include Bible based information and also commentaries with added attractions, such as puppet shows, dramas, skits, Christian videos, etc. We are careful to teach our children the principles of God through a loving attitude. Furthermore, with this approach continuously applied, we witness our children reproducing what they have learned. Taking special care to teach our children is viewed as a major responsibility. Therefore, we take it very seriously. Teen/Youth Ministry The Youth Ministry was established to provide a safe and loving environment to teach our youth about Jesus Christ and the spiritual aspects of life. We also strive toward establishing a competent youth ministry department that will lay a foundation for their lives, which will support their learning and living throughout their lifetime. We are careful to implement the importance of education in our training and foundational teaching. Education / Graduation Committee The Education Department is designed to assist Kindergarten through College aged individuals with developing an appreciation for higher learning. Our endeavor is to cultivate excellence in individuals that they might strive for academic success. Health/Wellness The purpose of our Health and Wellness Ministry is to provide information and resources to develop and maintain our bodies as healthy spiritual temples. It is our endeavor to implement awareness training via quarterly workshops for members and the community on wellness and resources. The Health/Wellness Ministry offers targeted training on First Aid, CPR, Food Borne Illness, Food Preparation/Storage, etc. Health screenings and exercise programs for members and the community are also made available in order to assist in becoming more physically fit. Singles Ministry The purpose of the Singles Ministry is to be encouragers one to another as we go about the work of the ministry. This ministry is here to be a blessing to those in need via hospital and nursing home visitation, homeless shelters etc. The Singles Ministry gathers once a month to fellowship and gain spiritual insight and direction on how to live a victorious and godly single life. We are Our Brother's Keeper. Soldiers of Honor Soldiers of honor is a ministry geared towards serving and assisting the elderly of New Horizons who have faithfully served in the local assembly. It is an auxiliary that is focused on exploring innovative ways to continue to be productive as a senior citizen. |
