Life Empowerment Classes
Life empowerment classes are held at 10:45 a.m. every Sunday prior to worship services. These classes are designed to endow the believer with practical godly wisdom for daily living. This informal setting is designed to inspire dialogue and feedback from the congregation on the diverse subjects that are taught. Individuals are challenged to embark upon opportunities with great faith as a result of encouragement from the body of believers.
New Membership
Sundays during Morning Worship
New Membership Class is designed to familiarize new members with New Horizons Outreach Ministry, why we are here, our goals and vision, what we believe, etc. Essentially everything a new member would need to know about this ministry may be discovered in New Membership Class.
Marriage Strengthening
3rd Thursdays - 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
God placed the mandate of reconciliation in marriages upon the hearts of Apostle Dennis and Prophetess Debra Givens in the early years of their marriage. It is their desire, as the Spirit of God leads, to represent Christ’s love for the church in their union to continue as instruments of reconciliation to many.
The Love Committee desires to serve according to I Corinthians 13:14. It declares, “Love suffers long, and is kind”. It is the Love Committee’s cry to see the members embrace the spirit of sacrifice, restoration, and reconciliation in the marriages at New Horizons.
Esther's Etiquette
Esther's Etiquette classes are designed specifically for the woman and her physical needs. Our focus centers around makeup, personal hygiene, proper diet, proper etiquette for eating, hair, nail and skin care, etc.
