Shi'Loh Productions - Music & Drama Ministry
The New Horizon's drama ministry is the outward expression of theatrical gospel talents. This ministry is comical enough to make you laugh, serious enough to make you cry, and spiritual enough to make you call on our Savior Jesus Christ! Psalms 126:2 Declares, "Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing." Most of the dramas are written by Carmen M. Jones and produced by Constance H. Williams.
Elder's and Minister's Classes
These classes are designed to inform and prepare individuals who are interested in learning more about the five-fold ministry gifts according to the scripture in Ephesians 4:11.
Heart to Heart
This ministry is for young women ages 13-19 yrs. It is geared to help them to develop their relationship with God and to teach them how to discover and contest for their destiny. Topics include relationships, education, family and much more.
High Praise
High praise is a music ministry and praise and worship team that sings songs of hope and deliverance. This music team has written and recorded music and distributed nationally. High Praise has been privileged to minister in churches, conferences, universities, in concerts, street meetings etc. High Praise has embraced the call to minister in song to the nations for the purpose of setting the captive free. The prophetic songs of the Lord are birthed during worship services. NHOM has written and produced hundreds of songs that have healed the hearts of many!
Mimes of Praise
Our purpose is to produce and inspire our youth to become bold and effective witnesses through demonstration in the arts ministry. We believe that dance and creative expression is a vehicle for instilling courage and boldness in our youth.
Leadership Training/ Seminars
The purpose for these sessions is to develop the leader within you and to reproduce successful leadership. Topics include five-fold ministry training sessions, character and integrity development classes, organizational workshops, financial management seminars, leadership development seminars, outreach seminars and much more. These effective leadership training tools, affirm, guide, direct and influence those called to leadership.
Marriage Strengthening
The marriage team is comprised of members who are committed to the ministry of marriages. Innovation, prayer, fellowship and determination to see our marriages thrive are the keys that we incorporate to keep the Lord, love and romance in the marriage covenant. Signs & Wonders
This sign language ministry is designed to interpret praise for the hearing impaired as well as minister to the body of Christ through the beauty of sign language.
Men of Valor and Wise Women Ministries
These gatherings are designed to strengthen the roles of both man and womanhood. Exciting men and women's gatherings are also held to fully equip the believer to live a victorious Christian life. These sessions are held every third Wednesday of each month.
Champions
This ministry is for young men ages 10-19 yrs. It is geared to help them to develop their relationship with God and to teach them how to discover and contest for their destiny. Topics include relationships, education, family etc.
New Converts Class
The purpose of the New Convert's class is to instill basic godly foundational principles in the born again believer. These classes help to develop and equip the new believer to fulfill their purpose in the Kingdom of God.
New Membership Class
These classes are offered to every new member upon joining New Horizons family. These sessions are also geared to inspire new converts to work in the church and aid in helping individuals to discover and contest for his/her destiny in Christ
Outreach
Our purpose for the outreach ministry is to fulfill the great commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our current outreach ministries include street meetings, nursing home visitations, prison and Juvenile Justice centers, hospital visitations, youth outreach, Hope Rescue Missions, homeless shelters and much more. It our endeavor to serve our community, nation and world with the emerging message of the gospel of Jesus Christ!
Praise Dancers
The ministry of dance at New Horizons Outreach Ministry is entitled Judah Dancers. This name is derived from the Holy Bible in Genesis 29:35. It is our goal to carry out the great commission of evangelism via the gifts adorned upon each dancer as the Spirit of God leads. We are not entertainers but ministers through expression via God's glorious demonstration. The dance teams are comprised of three groups adults, teens and children.
Sunday School and Youth Church
The purpose for this ministry is to provide a safe and loving environment to teach our children about Jesus Christ and the spiritual aspects of life. Our Youth Church is a competent establishment that will lay a foundation for children which will support their learning and living throughout a life time. Our youth church here at New Horizons focuses on instilling the spirit of God in each individual and helping them to form a relationship with Jesus Christ. The range of teachings include bible based studies, guest public speakers, commentaries, dramas, skits, Christian videos etc.
Successful Singles
Successful Singles gather to encourage, fellowship and think tank regarding solutions to continue to be productive servants in our communities. The fellowship that takes place during these sessions are the greatest elements that many singles need! These purpose centered gatherings are God centered and productive!
